Designation Engineer - Server Management
Daily administration /monitoring / troubleshooting of Unix servers (Solaris or HP UX) at customer datacenter. Perform daily activities like CPU,Memory, I/O monitoring, health check etc. Congifuring ba ckup/restore of system. Creation/deletion/modification of user IDs, partitions, volumes etc. Update patches as and when released by vendor. Coordinate with principle/vendor during problem. Implement c hanges as per customer change mgmt procedures & process.
Desired Profile Skills Required
BE or diploma engineer with good knowledge of Sun Solaris (certification would be preferred in this domain). Good communication skills & problem solving skills. Flexible & good team member. IT experie nce of 5-6 years would be preferred. 1-2 years Experience in Sun Solaris admin is must. Customer site is in New Bombay hence person required to travel to New bombay (reliance DAKC). Job requires worki ng in a shift, person should be comfirtable in it.
